Did you know that tomorrow, Feb 8, is Clean out your computer day? And as far as I’m concerned, it’s classed as housework so if I don’t get any washing or vacuuming done, it’s because I was heaps busy cleaning out my laptop ;P

So I’ll be uninstalling programs that I don’t use anymore, make sure I have all of 2009’s photos backed up and saved to disc, run a full system scan, a defrag and maybe even change my desktop wallpaper….I’ll be using my System mechanic to try and get it running a bit faster too.

It has became very slow and I can't open an Excel and Word documents at the same time!

I'd like to win the system mechanic because my home computer is so slow. I'd hate to say that it is a brand new computer (about 5 months old) and it previously ran like a cheetah but it now runs more like a galloping turtle. Why?? Who knows what is on this computer?!! After YEARS of downloads (games, photobook applications, ipod and mobile application 'things') this computer is SLOW!! After complaining to hubby about the slowness, he asked me to check my temporary internet files - I won't tell you how many MG were in there (mainly because I can't remember and I'm not really 'computery') but after my hubby's response - I'm sure it was ALOT!! and don't ask me how much was in the recycle bin!!
Either way, my computer is still slow, and as you can tell I need something or someone to do the work for me, and if I can't have Matt Damon fixing my computer, I'm happy to compromise and have System Mechanic! :o) (all true by the way!!)
