Test driving some laptops Pt2

The kids have had a great time test driving the Acer laptops that we’ve been asked to review. I posted info about them and what I thought of them the other week but I also wanted to share what the Mummified kids thought of them…

I asked the kids:

Which of the notebooks did you enjoy using the most, and why?

William: the Acer Aspire 5935G because it has a good graphics card and is better for gaming. Good for watching movies. Loads fast and I was able to do a few things at once without it lagging.

Tiesha: the Acer Aspire 5935G because it has Bluetooth, good speakers for listening to music and good for watching movies.

Madeline: the Acer Aspire 5935G because it’s good for watching movies, playing games and listening to music.

Giorgia: the small one (Acer ZA3) because it’s little and easy to use. I can play games on it.

Did you use the notebooks to play games? What sort of games? How was each notebook suited to gaming?

William: The 5935G was the best for gaming. The others seemed to slow down.

Tiesha: yes i did, i played all sorts of games, puzzle games and timed games, the laptops helped play these games because they are fast and the touch pad is awesome.

Madeline: yes, I played the games that were on the laptops. I liked the 5935G best because it was fast.

Giorgia: The 5935G is best for games because the mousepad is really good.

Which notebook was best to use for homework and assignments? How important is the screen size when you’re doing your homework?

William: I think a bigger screen size is better for homework and assignments because of the amount of time you’d be looking at the screen. The Acer Aspire 4810t or 5935g would be best.

Madeline: I think that the ZA3 would be best. It’s small, portable and easy to use. The screen resolution can be adjusted to make the graphics bigger or smaller for my liking.

Giorgia: I think the ZA3 would be good for homework because it’s small and light. And even though the screen is small, you can make the writing on the screen bigger (increase resolution)

How did you find the battery life of each notebook?  Was this feature important to you?

William: The battery life on each of the laptops was good. I think it is important because I don’t like to have to sit in one place making sure it’s plugged in all the time.

Tiesha: the battery was very useful, the battery was very important because it stays charged for longer then a regular laptop.

Madeline: The batteries all lasted for a long time. I think it’s important because I like to sit outside and use the laptops.

Giorgia: A long battery is good because I can sit outside or somewhere where there isn’t a power point and still use the laptops for a long time.
