You wouldn’t think that not having a fireplace mantel would make much difference, hey? But I miss having one. And not just at Christmas time…although it did mean having to find a new place to hang our stockings and new places for my Nutcrackers and other Christmas decor.
I wonder if it would be too weird if I got Bill to build me a fake fireplace…I don’t mind the Amish fireplaces but I would be happy with just the mantel…maybe so it just sits up against the wall and I could put some stuff on it….
…ok, I’ll stop now LOL
