Catching up on the Countdown
I’ve still been following the Countdown to Christmas at 100 Days To Christmas. I just haven’t had a chance to blog about it daily like I had planned to do. But this time, it’s a BIG catch-up!
We finished off last time at Day 56 so the challenge for Day 55 (Halloween) was to dress up, fill up a bowl of candy for the trick or treaters and have fun! We didn’t have many trick or treaters drop in so I’m thinking we will have that Boo Bash BBQ next year!
Day 54 was a catch-up day!
Are you travelling for the holidays? The challenge for Day 53 was to think about where you’re going, where you’re staying, booking tickets and anything else that will make travelling easier.
Apparently Day 52 fell on Election Day for our US friends. So I guess that give us Aussies a day off!
Day 51 is all about planning your Thanksgiving.
Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? The challenge for Day 50 is to plan your Thanksgiving menu.
Day 49’s challenge was to think about adding some extra food items so you can donate them to a food bank or charity.
Catch up day on Day 48!
Day 47 asks for you to consider starting a new tradition. Check out the ideas to start Soup Sunday!
The challenge for Day 46 is to address your Christmas card envelopes. I’m happy to say that I am well and truly done in this department!
And Day 45 is all about preparing your cards for their recipients.
The challenge for Day 44 was to teach your children the meaning of Remembrance Day and thanks a Veteran.
And to get us up to date, Day 43’s challenge is to go through your cookie recipes and decide which cookies you’re going to make for Christmas.
