How the hell did THIS happen?!

I just couldn’t handle it any longer! Every time I walked past Giorgia and Annabelle’s bedroom door, I tried to not look but this morning I looked. And it looked as if the garbage truck had vomited all over the bedroom!

OK, it wasn’t THAT bad but I couldn’t see the floor because Annabelle had emptied her toy box and her drawers. SO I HAD to get stuck into it today. Seriously, don’t enlarge the photos. It will hurt your eyes! LOL

I stripped the beds, culled toys, dusted, vacuumed, went through the girl’s clothes and ended up with 3 bags of toys and clothes to give to charity and 2 bags of trash!

So it now looks like this below but for how long??!!

Of course, cleaning out kids’ rooms doesn’t end with just getting the room looking half decent. There is also the scary looking laundry pile that slowly grows and grows while you’re discovering damp towels and dirty socks in the room….AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

So if you don’t hear from me for a few days, tell the search party that you last heard that I was heading into my laundry room to conquer Mt Washmore.

ahhh what a good feeling it is when you've cleaned out your child's room
  • yes, and it would be an even better feeling if it stayed like that for more
    than a week!
  • Hi Tina,

Great job getting the room sorted (I'm in the middle of tidying the family/kids room as I type - having a break). It's an ongoing project with kids that's for sure.
