35.
I’ve only been 35 for less than 24 hours so I can’t tell you what it feels like yet but it seems that a few people think that 35 may be close to pension age. Not mentioning any names *cough*my children*cough*
I was so spoiled today and got everything I asked for – new slippers, sun glasses, Ferrero Rocher chocolates and a SLOW COOKER! Yes, people, I’m yelling. I’m so excited! Don’t get me wrong. I’m not the type of person that is always thrilled to receive appliances as gifts but if it’s something I ask for, then that’s ok
The day was even better when the teens made an effort to be home in time for my afternoon tea and all the kisses and cuddles I got.
Oh and my darling sister (who has been dubbed the fancy cake maker in the family, and is the person to go to when you want a cake made, but I haven’t told HER that yet!) made me the most yummy scrummy cherry ripe mud cake with PINK icing. Nom nom nom!
Then after the fabulous afternoon tea with family and friends, I headed in for a bit of pampering. Legs are nicely waxed and the eyebrows are now under control! LOL
I have had the most wonderful day and I want to thank everyone who sent birthday wishes! You all helped make the day even more special! *Mwah!*
