For Bill’s birthday I decided to make him a birthday cake. I’ve been wanting to try this rainbow cake so I bought a couple boxes of vanilla cake mix and a bottle of Sprite, followed the instructions and made the cake batter.
I divided the cake batter into 5 bowls and added some pretty colours. Then I poured the colourful cake batter into 2 round cake tins.
Once the cakes were cooled. I placed one on top of the other with a layer of jam between them, iced and decorated.
Edited to add the picture I had taken of the inside but forgot to post…just for Peta! LOL
