Dear babes,

I know you love me and you would like to buy me a Mother’s Day gift but coming to me and saying “Mum, can I have some money to buy you a present” just doesn’t work for me. Why you didn’t ask your dad, I don’t know.

So I’m giving you some cheap, and some FREE, ideas of what you could give me for Mother’s Day.

You could make me a card…or a cake.

Or make me breakfast in bed…without reminding me that it is MY rule that we don’t eat anywhere in the house other than the kitchen/dining room.

You could do the dishes….or clean your room…or clean the car. THAT would be an awesome gift!

Maybe run me a bubble bath and let me soak in their long enough to read my favourite magazine without hearing “MUUUUuuuuuuummmmmM!” every 5 minutes.

Or, if you did want to buy a little something for me, you could get me a small box of chocolates…or a pretty plant to put in our new garden.

But the best present of all….would be giving me kisses and cuddles and telling me you love me.
