I’ve taken some photos…finally!
I haven’t taken photos of ALL the rooms. Our bedroom is currently the place where the left over boxes that still need to be unpacked currently live, the bathroom and toilet were occupied, and the teens’ rooms weren’t exactly photo-friendly this morning when I went around taking the photos! Damn teens! LOL
So, this is part of our living room. This room is significantly bigger than our old living room, so much so that we were able to arrange the furniture in a way to comfortably create an “entryway” because the front door opens right into the living room.
This is our dining room:
…and no, I didn’t tidy up the table before I took the photo LOL Bill just shook his head at me. The walls are bare at the moment but we are on the lookout for some nice prints to hang.
My kitchen is adjoining the dining room and again, I didn’t tidy up for the sake of the camera. Not as if I was taking shots of luxury hotel rooms for a magazine or anything
The one thing that thrilled me was that this kitchen actually has a spot for my fridge! In the old house, the kitchen was so small that the fridge had to live in the dining room! Sad, I know, but this really excited me! LOL
My laundry room:
The dryer hasn’t been mounted to the wall just yet and there’s a couple of boxes still in there that need to be moved – hence the bottom of a bucket in the corner of the photo. Remember when I mentioned that I wanted these in the laundry? Yeah, well, I’m not doing it now. That was just a passing phase.
And lastly (for now) Giorgia and Annabelle’s room:
My sister, Penny, bought the girls really pretty, matching, butterfly doona sets but I haven’t had a chance to put them on the beds. The night we made the beds, I couldn’t find the doona sets but I did find the ones that Peta gave the girls *blush*
So, that’s it for now…I’m sure there will be more photos as I start organising some more
