I’m sure you have all heard about the octo-mom, as she is now being called. If not, I’m referring to Nadya Suleman who has recently given birth to octuplets and already having 6 children.

I have refrained from blogging about her because of mixed emotions about the whole situation but while I was doing an IT job search, I got a bit side tracked and I stumbled across her new website which is asking for donations. I’m not linking to it because I’m not encouraging anyone to donate.

She has said in various interviews that she was not going to beg for hand outs. So what else has she lied about?

Personally I think that someone is lying about her financial circumstances. How does a single, non working mum afford IVF anyway? She claims that she doesn't receive benefits.

Comparing photos of her recently, she has had botox and a nose job. She has her nails done. And yet she has nothing in her house for those babies for when they come home.

sorry but i have to agree with Becca its not really up to us to judge it was her choice to do it and nobody is asking us to make donations nobody judges you because you 5 kids well i would hope they wouldn't anyway

It's not up to us to judge but I do have the right to my opinion. And my opinion is that a single mom with 6 kids already that she can't provide for on her own has no right to use IVF to have another 8 babies.

After reading the many stories online about her, it is clear that this woman needs mental help.

This is a touchy subject... I have to say that we all have choices in life and it is not up to anyone to judge...

Just a few things to contemplate...
1. Did she start the site because crazed people wanted to donate money to her but had no outlet to do so?
2. She has to be making a killing with all of these shows and should not need donations.
3. Perhaps it is a donation place where companies can donate things like diapers and post ads to look good.

I guess that all I am saying is that we do not know the whole picture and quite frankly I do not care... Thanks for the post!

like the fact that she has an abnormal obsession with Angelina Jolie and in
recent interviews has noticeable work done to look like her.

This woman and her doctor is giving a bad name to anyone who tries IVF. That angers me more than anything.
Apparently the sperm donor is the same one for all her children - but after the last (twins? I think), he told her to stop using his sperm to add to her collection. She didn't stop, obviously.
It has just been revealed that her doctor recently transferred 7 embryos into a 49 year old woman. Only 4 implanted, but for the love of Pete, what is he trying to prove? People are not clown cars!
