Annabelle’s birthday is on 6 March and I’ve mentioned already that it is a strawberry shortcake-themed party. I wrote out the invitations today and addressed them, ready to be sent out. I’ve bought all the decorations and plates, etc. I’ve also already bought her gifts and have them put away. I’ll post photos as soon as I get my camera fixed or buy another camera. (A separate whinge post on it’s own.)

A friend told me yesterday that I plan these parties too soon but the first 2 weeks in March are EXTREMELY busy for us. With 3 birthdays within 4 days! A 2nd birthday, 16th birthday and a 17th birthday.

William will be 17 on 9 March but he’s easy. When I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday, he said he was happy to go out for dinner with us and a couple of his friends.

Tiesha’s birthday is on 7 March. Yes, the very next day after Annabelle’s birthday. I’ve mentioned before that she is having a military-themed birthday party and I’ve been looking online for some ideas. But my problem is that I can’t find anyone that has written about a 16 year old girl’s army party LOL Either no-one has thought of doing it or my daughter is weird – you decide.

So I’m just doing it my way. But I just wish I could remember where the wholesale liquidators factory is. I’m pretty sure it was up Sydney way somewhere and we went up there with one of our friends. I remember seeing large camouflage nets and other stuff that would be good to use as part of the decorations.

Stay tuned for more updates about the army party! :)
