Got bitten by the Scrapping bug

I used to do paper scrap booking. But it was a pain in the butt getting everything out, creating some pages and then putting everything everything away again.

So I gave digital scrap booking a go and loved that it was mess free, no packing up and there was an undo button if I made a mistake!

But it’s been such a long time since I had done any digital scrap booking and I realised tonight that I actually missed doing it. I found an Aussie digital scrap booking site called Pickle Berry Pop. I bought a Christmas kit (Merry by PST Designs) so I could have a head start on our Christmas album and this is what I managed to do tonight:

So yeah, I think I got the digital scrapping bug again. Just don’t tell Bill how much I spend on the digital scrapbook kits! ;P

Your digi pages look great. I am just beginning to get into the digi scrapping. It is so much easier without all of the mess. A lot of sites offer free kits and that's all I have done so far. I want to learn a little more about it before I start shelling out the dough!

OK now I'm getting jealous. How are you managing all this stuff (organizing, menu planning, cleaning, etc) and now a new hobby? I want more time and creativity too.

EVERYONE's digitally scrapbooking these days. Guess it's time I jump on the bandwagon and declutter all that crap in my closet! Do you have the pages printed into a photobook or do you just view it electronically? I bet it would look great in a digital frame...

hey mX5, what would be a ballpark figure. i do paper s/booking. is it expensive?

You can find ALOT of freebies so you don't have to buy any digital
scrapbooking kits. That's how I started out. But I've noticed that kits
range from about $3 to $10. Plus you need to have a graphics program. I use
Paint Shop pro 9.

Great job! So, with digital scrapbook do you just print them out, keep them on line or order it? Maybe I should try that instead of my current project. I don't have an area to keep scrapbooking stuff either so I have to take it all out and put it all away again. Such a pain.

It depends. The christmas album I will be printing out in 8 x 8 size. Some
scrapbook pages I just keep on dvd.
It's so much better because I don't have enough room to have a "scrapping
room".
