It’s a Toshiba Portege M800 (in PINK!) that I’ve been playing with for the past week or so and I have to tell you, I’m liking this notebook more than the MSI that I reviewed.
This is the cutest little laptop that I’ve ever seen! It weighs just under 2kg making it very portable, thin and lightweight. It’s a dusty pink colour, brought out in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, which makes it very girly
It sports a 13.3" wide screen display, full size gloss keyboard, feather touch white LED media controls and metallic pink mouse buttons.
The only thing that I think is a disadvantage (but maybe it’s just me!) is that the touch pad is level with the casing. Most other laptops I have used have touch pads that a re slightly sunken in. With this touchpad, I find that I don’t have a little ridge around it to guide me.
Some of the more impressive features include Intel Core Duo 2, a 1.3mp camera which also has face recognition technology which allows easy logon to Windows, 1GB ram, 200GB hard drive, DVD super multi drive and bluetooth/wi-fi.
I did a google search to see if I could find out the price and I found that the price varied from $800 – $1300 US.
I’m adding this notebook to my wishlist!
