Making room for the Christmas tree

William came out of his room this morning and shook his head when he saw that I was moving some of the furniture in the living room…….again!

I kept on going and muttered “It’s Tackle it Tuesday and I’m making room for the Christmas tree”.

Unfortunately there’s no photos to share because the camera batteries are dead but I can tell you that the bookcases are on the wall I wanted to put them on for a while and there’s a nice clear space near the window waiting patiently for the tree.

And no, I didn’t have anything else more important to tackle today, thank you very much! LOL Although I could have been helping a friend look for retail franchises that might be worth getting into. Not my cup of tea, but if that tickles her fancy then I wish her luck :)

Head over to 5 Minutes For Mom to see what other tacklers are up to!

  • You know I'm happy you are so far ahead of us time wise, now I can go to bed and attempt to tackle something tomorrow (my Tuesday!) I do have a lot I need to get done!
  • Good planning ahead! I wish I could rearrange my living room furniture, but the layout doesn't allow it. We are able to easily make room for the Christmas tree, but I like changing a room around once in a while.
  • Great tackle!!
  • I need to tackle tons of things too before I leave *sigh*

    See you in December!

I must admit that not having a place to put the tree is what is keeping us from upgrading from a 3ft to a 6ft one.

I've secretly made room for the Christmas tree, too. I disguised it as my stepdaughter's "reading spot"... but when Christmas time comes, it's the Christmas tree's new home. haha.
Of course you didn't have anything more important to tackle--because NOTHING is more important than a spot for the Christmas tree! Lol.

great tackle...reminds me I need to do the same
  • Noooooo.....not Christmas yet!
  • Yay for you! Nice job!
  • We were just talking about when to put up the Christmas tree, I think we decided it was 10 days before Christmas. We're getting a larger tree this year:)
  • We always put ours up Dec 1 but sometimes if I can talk Bill round, it goes
up the last week of Nov :)
