Our Halloween Dinner

Halloween in Australia is NOTHING like it is in the Northern Hemisphere! Over the last few years, some of the local kids decided to try trick or treating (my kids included) but they found that the neighbours were not as enthusiastic as they were about the holiday.

I still wanted to have a bit of fun on Halloween so this year I decided to hold a Halloween dinner and invite my sister, her hubby and their baby.

I decorated the dining room and dining table in Halloween decor….

I know I’ve complained lots of times about the smallness of my dining room but we managed to fit everyone!

Baby Ella slept through the whole dinner!

Like our “scary dessert? LOL Chocolate Bavarian cake….snakes…Ooooooooh!

Looks like you went to a lot of effort, what's with the Scottish keyholder or whatever it is in the background?

What you can see in the background on the wall is actually a dart board.
Strange place to have one I know but our house is small and Bill had nowhere
else to put it...lol We just move the table out of the way when we play.

Looks like it vwas great fun. Was Baby A scared of those spiders?

She was a little bit scared when we first put them up. She wouldn't walk
into the dining room without the light on because she could see the shadows
of the spiders. But she was fine after that. She kept pointing up at them :)
