Point form Thursday

I don’t have a whole post to entertain you with today but I do have some little pieces that I’d like to share so I’m calling this little episode “Point form Thursday”. Good name because I don’t have any memes to do on a Thursday (except Thursday 13 but I don’t always have 13 things either so this works better) It does, trust me…LOL

I have a horrid cough and a sore throat, thanks to the kiddos. They decided that they wanted to share their germs with me.
I have spent the last few hours on Facebook adding friends and family. Found a couple people I haven’t spoken to since high school! Also noticed the disclaimer for uploading photos to Facebook: “I certify that I have the right to distribute these photos and that they do not violate the Terms of Use” This will be important when I chat with the solicitor.
Our dining room is decorated and ready for tomorrow when we have Halloween dinner with my sister, her hubby Steve and their bubba Ella.
Thinking that a couple of my ebay purchases have gone missing. The sellers reckon they have sent them a few weeks ago but I haven’t received them
I just turned and saw a huge (ok, it wasn’t THAT big) huntsman spider on the outside of the fly screen door. I demanded my son kill it. He’s standing here telling me that it’s on the outside but I want it dead anyway!
OK, spider is dead.

Whats everyone doing for safety precautions for Halloween? My husband came across an article (http://i-newswire.com/pr220892.html) with some info about background checking neighbors. I thought that may be a little overboard, but it had some other good suggestions for some precautions I haven't thought about. Last year my youngest son came down with a massive fever after Halloween. I almost thought about just taking the kids to our church's fall festival this year instead of door-to-door to prevent that from happening again. I don't know yet. What's your advice? Am I over-reacting or just being a concerned mom?

I'm glad you got the Spider issue taken care of!
As far as our children sharing the germs, my little man has been more than generous with mommy with this week. I'm glad he is learning to share and all, but geez!!!! Gimme a cookie, not the "I'm on my deathbed about to die illness"!!
