Our little condom

William did it. Tiesha did it. Madeline did it. Giorgia did it. And now Annabelle is doing it.

Wanting to sleep in between us. Every. Single. Night.

I call it a good night if I can actually keep my whole body on the bed! Most nights I’m pushed right to the edge of the bed, holding on to dear life! You think I’m kidding, don’t you? I’m serious!

If she is sleeping in her cot when we come to bed, we make sure we are as quiet as can be because you can be sure that the slightest noise we make and she will wake up, quickly stand up in her cot and scream the house down and wake the dead until we put her in our bed.

I’ve tried to move her to my side of the bed and I can lie in the middle so I can at least get a cuddle from my husband, but she just climbs straight over the top of me and squeezes herself between us.

Bill might put his arm over the top of her so we can hold hands and she will grab hold of his arm and push him away.

Each of the kids slept with us when they were little but Annabelle is making sure that she remains the youngest child. Yep, she’s our little condom!
