Toys, toys and more toys!

You know there’s only 76 days until Christmas? But hey, who’s counting?!

I’m determined to have a stress-free Christmas this year and that means not having to deal with the mad shoppers that seem to come from everywhere a few days before Christmas!

I’ve mentioned before that I LOVE to shop online. Not only because I can shop in my pajamas but with the cost of petrol these days, who wants to even START their car!

I’ve been browsing an Australian online toy store called Yogee, a family-owned business started by two brothers.

They cater for all ages so I can get Fisher Price, Playskool and wooden toys for the baby, a couple of the puzzles and scrapbook kits for the tweens and maybe some board games for the teenagers. I could even get the hubby’s gift too because he’s been asking for one of those tiny remote controlled helicopters (why? I don’t know! :D )

The site is really easy to navigate and I found what I was looking for quite easily. I love that they offer Paypal as a payment option because not a lot of aussie online stores are doing that yet. It can make it difficult for people who don’t have credit cards (yes, there ARE people who don’t use credit cards…LOL)

Yogee offers $7.70 shipping Australia-wide and free shipping for orders over $75. With 5 kids to buy for, that amount is easy to spend! All you non-Aussies, don’t stress! because they also ship internationally :)

I was just looking at that today, but unfortunately they don't have the only item I really want - the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Baby Grand Piano. Dang!

  • omg - di d you say Christmas?? AACCKK. I'm so not ready.

I've never done my Christmas shopping online - I'm always too hesitant because of shipping charges and problems with returns. But this year, with the cost of gas and the hope that retailers will offer free shipping 'cuz of the economy ... I might just try it.
  • I know! I'm usually the one saying OMG, did you just say the C word??? LOL
