I’m Going To Be Aunty earlier than expected!

I’m so excited I can’t contain myself!

My sister called me yesterday to tell me to keep Tuesday free because she needs me to be one of her support people when she gives birth!

I’m going to be an aunty for the first time!!

Because I live between their house and hospital, they’re stopping by to pick me up on Tuesday morning. She’s going to be induced because her doctor has some concerns.

I can’t wait to meet my niece or nephew (I’ve been saying it’s a little boy all along but I could be wrong!) That little kiddo is going to be spoilt rotten! LOL

My sister and her DH are so excited and a little anxious because this is their first baby but I know that they are going to be awesome parents – I’m so happy for them!

Disclaimer: Had recent events turned out differently, I would not be saying that I’m becoming an aunty for the first time. I would be saying that I’m becoming an aunty AGAIN. Cei la vie!

As for the pain from labour/induction/everything related - just keep reminding me on the day thats it's all worth it and the pain will end ... soon .... lol

1. if your sister is worried about induction - because ppl told me horror stories about it when i had one, (mostly that inducing hurts more) tell her I had my first by induction and my following two I went into labour on my own. No difference in the pain levels.

2.I do not have the proper words to convey what you are about to see and experience when you see your new niece or nephew be born. And neither will you, I think, when the time comes for you to tell us all about it. I had three of my own before watching my nieces enter the world and its the most breathtaking thing to witness. I've never felt so honored in my life as I was being able to witness the girls first breath of life.

I think she has read the horror stories too :) I've also knows my story because I was induced with 2 of my kiddos.

I was a support person for my best friend (at the time) about 4 years ago. It was amazing! But this is even more exciting because it's my only sister :)
