I don’t like credit cards. I have seen too many people get way over their heads in debt because of their uncontrollable spending habits and not being able to keep up with repayments.
I prefer to use my own money and if I don’t have the money to buy something, I either save for it or I don’t get it…simple.
It’s only recently that DH and I have just gotten a Visa debit card linked to our account so we can still take advantage of less fees but we’re still using our own money. I prefer it that way.
