Like Mother, Like Son

Shhh…don’t tell anyone but I think our son has my “gotta move furniture around” gene.

DH is always complaining that I change the furniture around in the house every day. Of course, it’s not every day. I wouldn’t get anything else done! It’s more like every month or so.

Last weekend, I walked past DS16’s bedroom and peeked in to see him moving his bedroom furniture around. He had unplugged all the cords and plugs to the tv, dvd, play station and computer. By the messy pile of cords, I didn’t think that he was going to put the HDMI and whatever other cords back in their right places!

I asked him why he was changing it all around and he said he was bored. I laughed because that’s the answer I give when DH asks me why I’m moving things again!
