Thought you were a visitor!

I went shopping today with my sister. I didn’t “dress up” but I did have a nice pair of 3/4 pants and a pink/black top on. I also left my hair down which is unusual because I ALWAYS have it up in a bun or a pony tail.

So I was sitting on the floor in the living room with my back to the front door. I was changing the baby’s nappy.

A couple of the kids from a few houses up knocked on the door and when I turned around from where I was sitting and said hi to them, one of them looked really surprised and said “Oh, Tina, I thought you were a visitor! I haven’t seen you dressed like that before”.

Now, I’m thinking it is because they have never seen me with my hair down and NOT because of the fact that they have seen me get my mail from the mail box in my pajamas too many times…lol

Hi Tina. That is really funny and I know how you feel. My kids say the same thing to me! Just wanted to let you know that you have been linked up on Blog Around the World. Check in daily to see what states and countries we are visiting!
  • LOL ... Makes you wonder, huh?
  • Isnt is amazing how we can people see us so differently when we take just that little time more to get ready. I too have noticed this with me back to work. I have a daycare attached to the school which I do some lunchroom supervision in. I look at the girls in daycare I once was there and remember it well never buying the new clothes or wearing my jewellery or really doing my face at least a bit. Now a different person rings, necklace, bracelet, nice clothes , my hair not pulled back in a pony all the time. I feel different too though which I really like a lot so Anthea was right . shhhh... at least this once
  • HAHAHA i wonder that with my neighbors. i don't really wear makeup around the house and i wear jeans and old T's cuz why dress up if you end up with food and snot on your clothes?
