Everything up-ended
*If you’re looking for a high-spirited blog post, you may wish to pass reading here because I can’t offer that today*
After all the drama yesterday and then other personal problems as well, my world currently feels like it’s all falling down around me. Everything that used to be comfort and safe seems to be unrecognisable and strange. I don’t want to even think about the future and what it holds at the moment. We had so many plans (including up-coming birthday party plans and a holiday) but everything is at a stand-still until we all know what is happening.
What upsets me is that the kids don’t know what is going to happen. The kids and I were talking about perhaps having a Halloween party this year because the neighbours don’t really like having trick-or-treaters knocking on their doors. (Halloween isn’t a popular holiday in Australia.) So it seems pretty useless now chatting about Halloween invitations if we don’t even know if we’re going to still be here.
It doesn’t help that one person walks out when they don’t like being said. How is anything going to to be resolved?!

I know that feeling of having your whole world falling down around you. Fortunately, most people do manage to get through it and come out stronger on the other side.

I agree with April,
It is hard to be in a situation like this, but you’ll end up being stronger because you got through it.
