Yep, one year older…again!

I was spoilt this year with gifts! From DH and the babes, I received a new digital camera, and some money to spend (I bought some clothes and a new pair of sneakers) and from my dad and step-mum I received lots of new kitchen stuff!

I was still half asleep when DH came in to kiss me good bye and wish me a happy birthday before he went to work. When I started tidying up this morning, DD8 said to me “You shouldn’t be doing any housework on your birthday, Mum!” So I asked her who would do it if I didn’t and she replied “No-one. You can do it tomorrow.” Yep, thanks kiddo!

My plans today? Well, I’m still in my jammies right now but later, the baby is taking me out to lunch - not sure where she’s taking me yet though. My darling sister was meant to pop in this morning on her way to work but I think she has developed “pregnant brain” and has forgotten! So I’m expecting a text message or phone call any time now…LOL Then, if I’m lucky, DH and the babes will cook a nice dinner early enough so it doesn’t interfere with the first game of State Of Origin tonight. (I can’t believe that the football people were that selfish to have the first game on MY birthday…I KNOW, how rude!!)
