Don’t want to be the mechanic!

I was just chatting with a girlfriend this morning and she told me that they finally got their car back after having to get it fixed. A provisional driver had crashed into them (nothing serious) but the cost to get their car fixed wasn’t something to sneeze at. Luckily the kid had insurance!
So, anyway, they got the car back this morning and as her DH was driving out of the mechanic’s shop, a rather strange noise started from the engine. Apparently they now need a new air conditioning compressor and from what my girlfriend told me, their poor mechanic heard from rather colourful words coming out of the mouth of her (usually quiet and patient) husband!

I so hate mechanics who are less than honest. I personally take my car to the dealer. While it might be just a tad more expensive. I have NEVER had a problem. The story you tell here is way too common of a problem that never exhisted, happening only AFTER leaving the mechanics shop.
