Spring cleaning in Winter?
So I booked a skip so we could do a household cleanup and it’s full! We had a few old matresses and beds that needed to be dumped as well as some junk under the house.
I’ve been busy inside going through cupboards, drawers and all our stuff, throwing things away. I have a bunch of scrapbooking stuff packed up for my sister. I haven’t scrapbooked for a while and she’ll probably put them to good use. I also have a pile of things for my dad to take to the markets. If they sell, great. If not, we’ll just toss them.
Shh, but I’m thinking of getting someone in to wash our windows. They are pretty grubby on the outside and we don’t have a tall ladder or a high-pressure hose to clean them so I might ring around and see how much it would cost. I also need to get our carpets cleaned. They haven’t been done for a while.
And while I’m thinking of the dining room, it needs painting.
We also need to tidy up the backyard some more because DD7’s birthday party is in a fortnight’s time.
Ugh! Lots to do and I’m running out of time!

Hi - good timing - my window man left a message while I was out today - he is very very reasonably priced - I think last time he did mine he charged me $60 inside and out (that was before the extension). Oh by the way the cupcakes are for the Friday or Saturday and the birthday cake is all organised - just have to remember to take the pirate decorations to the cake decorators
