How much more are these kids going to cost me??!!

It has been just over two months since our only boy has been learning to drive and we’ve worked out that if he wants to get his provisional licence in the 12th month, he’ll need to be driving at least 3 hours a week to do his 120 (minimum) hours of driving.

I rung our auto insurance company this week to make sure that he was covered while he is at the wheel and I got told that my insurance company does not insurance people under the age of 18. So because DD15 will be going for her learner’s permit next year and we’ll have two young drivers in the household, I thought it would probably be better to do a bit of car insurance comparison and find a different insurance company that is going to insure my teenage drivers.

I’m a bit annoyed because the reason we went with this company was because it was the cheapest which means that when we change we’re going to be paying more regardless who we go with.

But I guess it’s only until my teenagers get a job….and then they can pay for their own car insurance! Oh, and get their own cars too so they’re not wanting to take mine all the time!

Monday morning phone calls

Monday morning is my time to make any phone calls I need to make. I spent the morning chatting with the lovely people who I pay for my auto insurance, the not so lovely people who I pay for my broadband service and the people who keep sending me letters telling me that I need to get a new life insurance quote and update the details to include the baby (which I should have done MONTHS ago *my bad*) Oh and I got to chat to a friend for a while too so that was nice.

Found the culprit!

I found the culprit who taught the baby to poke her tongue out at me when I’m telling her to come and get her nappy (diaper) changed!

I’ve been logo’d

I was playing around a site called Logo Design just now. It was so easy to create a logo design and matching business cards for myself! There’s lots of different logos to choose from to suit the industry that you work in. I wanted to create a logo with my name so I chose a cute butterfly logo and added my name in one of the fonts available. I changed the logo to the colour of my choice and thats it!

The logos don’t lose quality if made larger or smaller, and look great in either black & white or colour. I’d love to get some business cards and note paper printed up with my snazzy new logo!
