Trying Biotivia

A few days ago, I was sent some products from Biotivia to try. One of them was BioQuench, promoted as a super-antioxidant and is formulated to get rid of the free radicals in your body that cause aging as well as promoting other benefits.

BioQuench contains only natural products, which is another benefit. The major ingredient is Trans-resveratrol which is a great product on it’s own. Other ingredients include apple extract, goji berry extract, pomegrante, mangosteen, grape seed and alpha lipoic acid.

I’ve been taking one capsule in the morning with food, as recommended, and I have to say that I feel as though my energy levels have increased. Usually by mid-afternoon, I’m ready to go for a “nana nap” but the last few days I haven’t felt tired throughout the day and I’ve been sleeping better too because I haven’t been having a sleep through the day. I’ve also found that it seems to curb my cravings for sweets which is a great thing especially since I’m trying to lose weight.

I was also sent BioFlu Vital which is meant to build your immune system up so you’re not too vulnerable to the colds and flu’s being shared around during the winter months. Apparently this product is very popular with teenagers in Europe because the teenagers say that it helps in clearing acne (although it’s not being promoted as clearing acne). So I’ve asked my DS16 to be my guinea-pig. He took one capsule today so we’ll see if it does anything for his acne. If not, it will still benefit him in helping him keep the sniffles at bay through winter.

  1. Resveratrol can help you to lead a long and healthy life so says Dr. Oz.

Resveratrol Supplements can help you control your weight naturally
by increasing energy, reducing cravings, and limiting your appetite.
According to Wikipedia, Consumer Lab, an independent dietary
supplement and over the counter products evaluation organization,
published a report on 13 November 2007 on the popular resveratrol
supplements. The organization reported that there exists a wide range
in quality, dose, and price among the 13 resveratrol products
evaluated. The actual amount of resveratrol contained in the
different brands range from 2.2mg for Revatrol, which claimed to have
400mg of “Red Wine Grape Complex”, to 500mg for Biotivia.com Transmax,
which is consistent with the amount claimed on the product’s label.
Prices per 100mg of resveratrol ranged from less than $.30 for
products made by Biotivia.com, jarrow, and country life, to a high of
$45.27 for the Revatrol brand. None of the products tested were found
to have significant levels of heavy metals or other contaminants.
