An interesting conversation took place last night between DH and a friend of his. His friend was complaining because his wife wanted to update their term life insurance now that they had children. He thought that it was all a waste of money and he didn’t want to put any more money into than he really had to.

I think he’s just being selfish and isn’t thinking about what would happen if, God forbid, something happened to either of them. Ensuring that your family will be well looked after should be a priority…but obviously not to him.

I wanted to say something but I got a look from DH that more or less said, “Please don’t bite his head off again!” LOL This friend and I have been known to clash about certain subjects.
