The television was turned on Channel 10 this morning so DD7 could watch th Winkx Club (spelling?) and I have lost count how many ads have been shown for different toys and games! In the space of half an hour, my child has told me “I want that” probably about 6 times! From the new Cabbage Patch Kid to the new Baby Born to some doodle pony that you can draw on. Way to go maximising your advertising dollars, people!

This is why we usually only watch ABC in the morning. No ads - and educational cartoons!
