DH got a new tattoo

My DH has a few tattoos. One on each of his shoulders, one on each of his forearms and one on the inside of his left arm.

Yesterday, he finally got the tattoo he’s wanted for awhile – a tribute to those who died for us.

Tackle it Tuesday – “office corner?”

Have you heard about Tackle It Tuesday, hosted by 5minutesformom.com? Their catch phrase is “making housework blog-able!” I participated in a few tackles a while ago but I thought I’d have a go again because it always helps to have a little encouragement

This week, I REALLY need to do something with my “office corner”. It’s not so much an office corner as a dumping ground for the nappy basket, the baby’s toy basket, our paperwork and other paper items, and stationery.

I have no idea how I’m going to organise it, but something needs to be done with it!

It’s all tidied up now. I culled heaps of paper, tidied up my stationery basket, and dusted. I still need to find a new home for the baby’s toy basket so it’s still easy for her to play with her toys but so it doesn’t stick out in the middle of the floor!

Hi, Chester!

My sister and her DH went for their first ultrasound on Monday. They were surprised to find out that she was 4 weeks further along than what they thought! So that means that “Chester” is due 13 October, instead of November 7 like my sister thought!

So, that means 4 weeks less baby shopping time! LOL

They’re back at school!

The babes are back at school today so it’s time to get back into routine. I find that through the school holidays I just tidy up but when holidays finish, I get back into cleaning.

I have so much washing to do from our weekend away that I’m trying to catch up with and we’re hiring a skip at the end of the week so I’m planning on doing a big clean up and decluttering and getting rid of heaps of junk.

Computers running slow

The kids play games online and lately they have been complaining that the computers are running slow. I don’t know whether I just need to upgrade the hard drive, the mother board or add more ram to them. Or maybe it’s just time to get new computers that can handle what the kids put them through. What do you think?
