In regards to my “step families” post, I want to say thank you to everyone who commented. I have decided to password protect it because I didn’t want it to become a word war.
I found how easy it is for words to be taken the wrong way and how quickly things can get out of hand. I stand by my words when I said that I felt the need to vent and I didn’t want to take it to the family. By blogging about it, I was able to get it off my chest and move on. But unfortunately in stead of just moving on, I have hurt my family and for that I am truly sorry.

No problem. I understand what you are going through right now. Sometimes, we just need to speak out what we feel but unfortunately, we cannot please everybody.
But the more important thing is you got to move on. Remember my story? imagine a 40-year life with a mess!

I have no idea what might have occurred but I am a stepmom. We have a combined family of 5 daughters and it has had its challenges. We’ve been together now for 19 years and the kids have grown up with their dad (or stepdad) and me as their main influences in life.
