The one thing I don’t want to hear on a public holiday when it is going to cost a fortune to call in a tradesman (if they come out at all) is one of the kids saying “Oops!” and then “Mum, the bathroom fixtures have fallen off!” Rushing to the bathroom expecting the worst, I was faced with just the white tap handle that had come off and even I could fix that!
