I’ve agreed to DD7 having a birthday party for her 8th birthday and because it’s SO much fun having a themed party, she wants to have a pirate party.

We originally were just going to have family dropping in on the afternoon of her birthday (which is on a Friday) for cupcakes so we’re still going to do that, and then have the pirate party on the Saturday for her and her friends.

So guess who’s been buying up big on pirate party supplies on eBay…lol There are some awesome pirate-themed stuff! I found invitations which are like a message in a bottle, and I bought a whole heap of little trinkets for the goody bags. While I was in town this morning, I noticed one of the bargain shops had costumes on sale so I was able to buy a “girl pirate” costume for her. Oh, and I saw the most cutest baby pirate costume on ebay so I have that one on my “watch list” because there’s still over a week to go on it.

Hmm, now to tell DH that the butterflies have all flown away but the pirates are coming to shore! LOL
