Shopping vent
I think I may be becoming a shopping cart snob! I was looking for gifts to buy for the baby for her birthday and I came across the perfect gift but unfortunately the website I found it on uses a not so friendly shopping cart software. Seriously, if you are planning on selling your products and/or services online, you really need to choose ecommerce software that is both user-friendly for your customers and easy for you to use as well.
I’ve dealt with website owners that I’ve wanted to purchase something from, only to come to a halt because there’s a hitch in their shopping cart and they have no idea how to fix it because the tech support doesn’t offer them 24/7 support. So I end up looking elsewhere to spend my money. I’m not the most patient person and usually likes things done YESTERDAY!
So if you do business online, please do your research first and use a shopping cart software that isn’t too difficult to work out, offers 24/7 support if you do need help and most important, make sure it’s easy to use for your customers!

I totally agree! I can’t count the number of times I’ve just given up on an online shopping spree because the checkout didn’t seem to work correctly.

I had problems with a large, well known site before, and that was really annoying. I can give some leeway to an new site or business, but a well established company shouldn’t have a finicky shopping cart.
But hey, even in a real store you might end up with a wobbly wheel cart, so why not on-line too? {:0D
