My sister and her husband have been invited to their friends’ wedding at the end of the year. When she called to say that she was looking online checking out how much it was going to cost to stay in a hotel in Vegas, I thought she meant Las Vegas, USA. She just laughed and said “No! I meant BrisVegas!” BrisVegas is the tongue-in-cheek nickname given to Brisbane, Queensland because of it’s resemblance to Las Vegas. Huh! I was ready to tell her that I’ll hide in her luggage…lol
