That is just shocking! Kids that age don’t need to proclaim themselves “losers” (or for that matter, have a parent proclaim a loser), nor do they need to wear items with cuss words or sexual imagery. They will get enough of that over the next few years without wearing it on their t-shirts. Great post!

It’s great to see so many parents and concerned citizens getting behind the campaign to have these t-shirts pulled from sale. Early indications are Jay Jays have been overwhelmed by the number of complaints. I think we might see these tees pulled off the shelves by the end of the week. Yeah!

Thanks for adding your voice to the mix.
Together parent power will make a difference and hopefully get the line axed from the stores.

We’re boycotting the stores until Jay Jays takes the line off the market and displays corporate social responsibility toward young people and their parents.

Boggles my mind that her mother took her out like that. Let alone buy the tshirt!

My guess is that they aren’t pulling them because people are buying them. Which sucks. I remember coming across a size 2 mini skirt which had “hot stuff” written on it. Who in their right mind buys this sort of thing? I don’t think I’m particularly prudish or conservative – quite the opposite, in fact – but really, who wants to encourage this kind of labelling? There’s not a chance that I’d let my son out of the house in a t-shirt that said “Mr. Well-Hung”, tween or teen. And if he did it as a grown up, coming to visit me, I’d send him home to change.

Now that is just crazy I can not believe they dont think that is inappropriate for children to wear. I think it is for anyone one to wear but adults have the choice to wear it or not. I hope they remove them.
