Bad credit rating?

It doesn’t make much to fall behind in paying bills, finding yourself in financial hardship and in result receiving a bad credit rating. Fortunately there are services that offer bad credit loans. Instead of applying for the first loan or credit card offer that you see, take the time to do some research, and apply for a bad credit loan. This will give you the chance to rebuild your credit rating and get back on your feet.

Bald by choice

My darling husband is bald and has been for about 3 years now. When he noticed he was thinning on top, he decided that he didn’t want to end up with half a head of hair and sick of the “fryer tuck” jokes from his mates so he chose to shave all his hair off and has been shaving his head since. Personally I think he is much more handsome with a bald head! There are many people who would basically do anything to prevent hair loss and because of this, there are many products on the market that promise results but don’t do anything, leaving many people disappointed and out of pocket. Instead of purchasing the first product that promises miracles, a bit of research should be done to find out which products actually work.

Trustsource.org lists hair loss treatments that have been ranked and reviewed by people who have actually used the products. The highest ranked product is provillus, healthy hair support for men and women providing essential nutrients to encourage hair growth and discourage hair loss.

Why are we here?

Although I was baptised Catholic as a child, as an adult I’m not a practising Catholic. My DH isn’t of any faith and religion seems to be a taboo subject in our household.

DH believes that we were put on earth by aliens as an experiment. I believe that there is a “higher being”. I don’t know if I believe in aliens although it is hard to believe that we are the only human race in the entire universe.

Yesterday afternoon, DH and DS15 were “stumbling” and came across a heap of you-tube videos about UFO sightings. I think they were on a mission to prove to me that aliens are real because while I was running around the house cleaning up, all I kept hearing was “Look at this one! How do you explain that?!” and “Mum, there’s no way that’s fake!”

Where do you stand? Do you believe in aliens?

Baby Talk

The baby has decided that as soon as it starts getting light, that is her cue to let me know she’s awake.

If she could talk, her babbling and cries would probably translate into -

(quietly babbling to herself) “OK, it’s light. I’m awake but I’m happy lying here looking at my butterfly mobile – for now”

(babbling to herself with a few happy squeals, pulling off her baby booties) “Mum, just letting you know that I’m awake. I can see you but you’re still sleeping. OK, I’ll be nice and let you sleep for a LITTLE while longer”

(starts to add a little whine) “OK, babies have a short attention span and I’m bored now and I want a nappy change and my bottle. Mum, it’s time to wake up!”

(loudly squeals so she can wake up the whole neighbourhood!) “MUM, GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF BED,GET ME OUT OF HERE! PUT ME IN MY BABY CAR SEAT AND LET’S GO SHOPPING!”

Oh my! Girls!

There are 5 females in this household, one of them being a teenager and another almost a teenager so it’s no surprise that there can be a bit of b!tching gone on sometimes. What amazes me is that as we’re coming closer to DD12’s 13th birthday, it’s like she’s finding her inner teenage attitude! It’s like something happens in the brain that says “hey, I’m almost a teenager. I’d better start getting sarcastic to everyone, talk back to my mum and dad, be nasty to my siblings and get really really moody!” I put it down to her “becoming a woman” soon but still I don’t remember being such a cow when I was that age…hmmmm, should ask my dad…LOL

What’s funny is that DD14 comes to me and complains about DD12’s attitude toward her…she doesn’t remember that not that long ago, I was the one complaining about her attitude towards me!

Yesterday, I had to admit to DH that he was right (it was hard…lol) …..females CAN be b!tches! LOL
